"White turquoise" stones with sterling silver. Very lightweight & delicate. The main stones have the lightest hints of pale blue, with streaks of grey/brown.
These earrings are made from a type of turquoise called "dry creek turquoise", also referred to as "Buffalo creek turquoise". It is a very, very pale blue stone (almost white) and was discovered in the 1990's in the Dry Creek mine. The scarcity of the heavy metals in the area caused the pale colouration of the stones.
