Elephant string bracelet

🐘 🐘 🐘 Elephants have this incredible bond with their "family", a herd that consists of roughly 3-20ish members. That herd is made up of a matriarch, and her calves and grand calves, and can include others from outside the core family. Female calves will stay with their mothers for their entire lives, while males will move on when they reach maturity- around 10-15 years old.
Elephant herds will even have friends in other herds, and will coexist, eat and interact with one another, within a sort of "community" (this can include up to 6 groups/separate families). This is called kin or bond groups. All of these groups are female led, with one Matriarch. The female elephants raise and teach the young calves all that they need to know to thrive in the world 🌎
Elephants are a really incredible symbol of family & unity.
